To be declared SME of the Year in 2022 topped off a fantastic 12 months for us as a business. Not only was it a difficult trading year for some of our customers, we also had significant changes behind the scenes too. The judges commented

SMP Awards – Platinum Envelope Winner 2021
We are delighted to have been recognised in direct mail and awarded the overall Platinum Envelope Winner 2021. The SMP Strategic Mail Performance Awards judges said it was “completely clear that in both golden envelope winners, innovation and results were entirely down to the mailing house and no one else.
“Demonstrates that Mailing Houses can originate as well as deliver under instructions.”
SMP Awards – Golden Envelope Winner 2021
Awarded for Hiller Garden Centres, New Build Mailing which was a targeted customer acquisition campaign. The judges highlighted that we utilised “data led insights as a solution to a client challenge” and we delivered “complete synergy of concept and creation.”

EDWPS won another Golden Envelope Winner 2021 for Eastons Holiday, 2021 brochure mailing. The voting panel commented that EDWPS provided “a complete transformation of a communication strategy, with complete overhaul of a data and targeting.” Which resulted in a 400% uplift in daily bookings, whilst delivering “a holistic solution of mail pack design, environmental concern elimination and lower price.”
Nottinghamshire Business Awards – Outstanding Growth Award 2022
We are so pleased and proud to have received the Nottinghamshire Business Awards 2022 for Outstanding Growth. Everyone at EDWPS has worked incredibly hard, and this award is in recognition of that, and our journey of growth, which is ongoing. The judges were extremely impressed by our exceptional levels of growth in sales, profit & market share over the past 12 months.
ISO Accreditations
ISO 45001
ISO 45001 is a specification for an Occupational Health & Safety management system (OHSMS).
Introduced in March 2018 it is a significant step forward in the overall effort to improve occupational health and safety (OHS) worldwide.
Awarded to us in 2022, this certification assures our dedication and commitment to the highest levels of Heath & Safety. It is intended to improve the safety and health of both our employees and other personnel who visit our business.
ISO 27001
ISO 27001 is a specification for an information security management system (ISMS).
An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation’s information risk management processes.
Awarded to us in 2016, this certification assures our dedication and commitment to the highest levels of information security.
ISO 9001
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard. A powerful business improvement tool, ISO 9001 Quality Management certification helps us to:
- Continually improve and streamline operations and reduce costs
- Recognise & satisfy more customers’ needs
- Be more resilient and build a sustainable business
- Demonstrate to our clients we have strong corporate governance

ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is the certified criteria for an environmental management system. To achieve this certification EDWPS have implemented the required framework for an effective environmental management system.
By gaining ISO 14001 we can provide assurance to our clients, company management and employees that our environmental impact is being continually measured, monitored and improved.

Platinum Partner
Platinum Organisational Accreditation is the highest accolade given by JICMAIL (the Joint Industry Currency for Mail).
It has been awarded to businesses who have demonstrated a level of proficiency with JICMAIL beyond its basic application.
This includes evidence of JICMAIL data being routinely applied across planning & sales together with case study evidence that JICMAIL is being systematically used to retain or grow business
Cyber Essentials Certified
As part of our commitment to cybersecurity for our business and customers, we have assessed ourselves against five core security controls.
A qualified assessor verifies the information we have provided, ensuring the processes and measures we have in place provide protection from a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks.
With these controls in place our business is less vulnerable to targeted attacks from cybercriminals.
Mail Made Easy
As a premier partner within Royal Mail’s ‘Mail Made Easy’ program we are a trusted associate within the Royal Mail network of service providers.
As a result Royal Mail are happy to refer customers to Eight Days a Week with their Direct Mail challenges ranging from new customer acquisition, testing of new ideas or increasing the volume of their mail communications.

Established in 1990 The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) is a not-for-profit Trade Association focused on helping its members grow and develop their businesses.
