Mark Foskett Business Development Director at Eight Plus. Expert in print solutions, brochures, catalogues and leaflet specialist.

Business Development Director

Married for 32 years! Two grown-up children; Myles, 24 who is running his own Plumbing and Heating business and Christina, 21 just graduated from University with a first in fashion buying and marketing, and is ready to start a full-time graduate intake at Dunelm; so proud of both their achievements.

You would like to think now they are grown up that my time outside work would calm down, but unfortunately not, as I am always getting roped in to help the boy one way or another, along with Mrs F running all his admin.

I enjoy walking Molly and Ginger our two Cockerpoos and try to get out on the bike when time allows. Also getting some time now that the world has opened up for holidays with good food and a few drinks.

My standout skill is my extensive technical knowledge of the print process from Estimating through to Sales, so enjoy engaging with my customers not only to find the right supply solution, but to evolve formats to ensure the client gets the absolute maximum for their budget.

Having been around the print industry for 32 years, I have an extensive knowledge, network, background in Estimating/Account Management and Sales.

Proudest moment working for Eight Plus?

Having the opportunity to team up with both Lance & Rob to form Eight Plus and become a part of something special.  Getting my first official directorship within the business will always be a special moment for me. We have quickly assembled a team that has the best skill sets in their given fields who can offer an unrivalled level of service and knowledge to our customers. Which makes Eight Plus' service stand out.

Why do you love working for Eight Plus?

Being around print for 32 years I can now finally offer our clients the service and solutions they deserve, without any compromise I previously had working with a single manufacturer. We are able to extend our offering to cover all aspects of print. Directing the work to the best suited supplier to offer a cost-effective solution that doesn't compromise on quality.

What makes Eight Plus so special/different?

The people/team that we have are the best in all aspects of print. We are all industry professionals with a true passion for print, and the want to ensure our customers benefit from the vast experience and knowledge we have to offer a transparent and honest solution.

What do you love about the print industry?

32 years and counting, but was always blown away with seeing the paper fly through the press, and books running through the binders – I just love all things mechanical and how it all comes together. It is such a good feeling to see all the planning of a project come to fruition.

Also, the people and lifelong friends I would not have met if was not for print and this is why we are the team we have today.

What moment are you most proud of?

Other than the creation of Eight Plus which tops it all. I do get some stick from my colleagues as I am as passionate at winning a Multi-million pound contract as a set of NCR pads. In my experience all jobs are important, and everyone counts; so proud of them all.
